Fog sets in over Eastern Vancouver Island

I know its old news but we were under a thick blanket of fog for 12 days here in Qualicum Beach - as was most of eastern Vancouver Island, the sunshine coast and lower mainland in BC. Below the fog line is was cold, damp and dreary - much like you would expect for a west coast winter. But a short 400 feet above was blue skies and sunshine.

But the fog does make for some interesting photographs.
