It was a little too wet to go out and photograph, so I thought I would dig into a box of old drafting supplies I've been carrying around with me since my first year in engineering school. To be honest I really liked drafting. Maybe it was the straight lines, the cool pencils, or those wonderful French curves. There's no better way to draw an asymptotic curve or exponentially decaying curve then to bring out the old French curve. And that Staedtler Compass - what a piece of craftsmanship; which can substitute as a deadly weapon in a pinch.
I must have lost my T-Square in the 5 or 6 moves since the early 80's and I seem to recall my drafting board being used for firewood many years ago. But I'm glad I kept most of my drafting hardware.
